De voorbereidende werkzaamheden voor het exploitatie gereed maken van de zandwinning Echten vorderen gestaag. Op donderdag 12 maart jl. werd een belangrijke mijlpaal bereikt, de stalenbrug over de Hoogeveenschevaart werd namelijk ingehesen. De 72 meter lange verbinding werd in onderdelen samengesteld. De brug over de Hoogeveenschevaart is opgebouwd uit drie delen.
De hoofdoverspanning met een lengte van 36 meter werd voor de middag gelegd. Daaraan werden vervolgens de twee aanbruggen van elk 18 meter lang aangekoppeld. De brug heeft een wegdekbreedte van 3,5 meter met aan beide zijden een 1 meter breed fiets-/voetpad.

We had observers go into the workplace and we timed people’s activities to the second. We’ve been to various workplaces, all high-tech companies. We wanted to look at information workers. We had observers shadow each person for three and a half days.

Achieving deep work should be our goal in any team, but doing it in an office setting can because of so many distractions. Asynchronous communication in a remote setting is perfect for it.
